To the Magruder family,
About four years ago we decided to undertake the building of a new home. Chris had done so about 12 years before, and while I had purchased a new home, I had never built one. We gathered our rough ideas and started with Christina at Design Elements. She made it seem so simple despite our constantly changing ideas. Within a short period of time we had on paper the home of our dreams.
Then came the time to start building. We challenged the guys with our ideas and boy did they deliver. From custom stain glassed windows to five different types of ceilings, yes five (flat, tray, vaulted, coffered and barrel), custom wall treatments, and much more, every time they managed to make it look better than we could have imagined. We got to dream big and have it come true, while being given the guidance to make sure we didn’t let our big ideas make it wrong. Doug and Ryan brought their own unique ideas too. In our garage is a door and a pipe to pour softener salt direct from the garage into the tank in the basement, absolutely brilliant idea. The constant attention to detail that we observed during construction is still evident today. The house was built with care and pride and it shows.
I would highly recommend both Design Elements and Magruder Construction for all your needs. Two years in our home now and we love it. Great job guys and thank you for a job well done.
